Poco Loco lets a creator host an interactive race while viewers join from stream chat. Hosting a race and entering it are free. Viewers can use their free race actions; Twitch Companion also offers optional Bits interactions. You can host in the browser or the desktop app connected to the same service.

Prepare your account and game window

You need a Twitch or Kick account, an internet connection, and a device that can render the game with WebGL 2. A desktop or laptop with a keyboard and pointer is the practical starting point for hosting and broadcasting. You do not need to buy a vehicle or an interaction to open a race.

For the web version, sign in to Poco Loco with your provider. For desktop, download the supported build, open Poco Loco, and complete the provider sign-in in your system browser. Keep the game window open: this window runs and displays your race. Read the capture guide before you go live.

Connect Twitch or Kick

Twitch: use Login with Twitch and approve the connection for the channel you will host. Viewers enter through the Twitch chat integration; the optional Poco Loco Companion extension adds Twitch viewer controls. Installing Companion is not a Kick setup step. Follow the Companion guide if you want that extension.

Kick: use Login with Kick and approve the connection. The game receives supported channel chat events through the Kick integration. Viewers can enter with join, race, or vamos while the Grid is open. During the race, boost and honk use the Kick free-action allowances. Twitch Bits and the Twitch extension are separate Twitch features.

When you have linked both providers, check the channel choices in your session. A linked identity and a channel enabled for the current race are different things; use the intended channel and ask viewers to type in that channel's chat.

Choose a track in Arena

Open Arena, choose a track, and review its race settings. Use an existing published track for your first run. A loop has a lap count; a point-to-point track has a separate finish. Select your vehicle if you want a different ride, then use Go to Grid.

You can race on existing tracks without building a track. Builder is a separate signed-in authoring workflow. Track drafts belong to their creator and must pass validation and a current test before publication.

Open the Grid and invite viewers

Keep the Grid visible and tell viewers how to join. The Twitch Grid advertises !vamos and !race; Kick accepts join, race, or vamos. Viewers need the matching provider identity, not a separate creator account on the Poco Loco website. Check that their names appear before starting. The race capacity is 125 racers.

A message typed after joining closes does not place a new racer into an already running race. If someone is missing, leave joining open, confirm the provider/channel, and have them try again. Do not use local test participants as evidence that the real provider connection works.

Start and complete the race

Start when the Grid has enough racers. The countdown stops if fewer than three racers remain. Use the ordinary race controls and camera views to present the race. The default vehicles race automatically; eligible creator manual driving is a separate Take the Wheel option.

Keep the game running through the finish and wait for results to save. Finish shows the completed race results and the next-race action. Read race rewards for the exact PocoPoint reward table. Cancelling or abandoning a race is not completing one.

The expected result is a saved completed session and a Finish screen for the race you hosted. If you see a submission failure, use the available retry rather than treating a visible finish animation as proof that the server saved results.

Fix a stalled first race

No names on the Grid: verify that the right channel is connected and enabled, joining is still open, and viewers use the correct provider chat. A grey or unavailable action may mean the race is not running, the viewer is not entered, or an allowance is exhausted.

A blank canvas or WebGL not supported means the game cannot create its required WebGL 2 context. Follow setup and troubleshooting. For a connection or results issue that persists, contact support with the route/session and the visible error; do not send passwords or tokens.
