You join a Poco Loco race from the creator's enabled stream channel while their Grid is open. Race entry is free. Sign in to the stream platform so your message has a provider identity; you do not need a separate Poco Loco creator account or a paid interaction to take part.

Find an open Grid

Watch for the creator to open Grid. Joining happens before the race starts, not after the cars are already racing. Check that the creator is hosting on the same Twitch or Kick channel where you are chatting. The grid can hold up to 125 racers, so a full grid cannot accept another entry.

An always-on demo and a creator's own hosted race are separate sessions. Sending a join message in another channel does not move you into the race you are watching.

Join through Twitch chat

The Twitch Grid displays TYPE !VAMOS TO JOIN and TYPE !RACE TO JOIN. Send !vamos or !race in that creator's Twitch chat while joining is open, then look for your racer on the Grid.

Use your signed-in Twitch identity. Companion is an optional Twitch extension for interactions and vehicle selection, not a website account requirement for chat entry. If Companion asks to share your Twitch identity, approve that only if you want its identity-dependent actions and your own Garage choices.

Join through Kick chat

While the creator's Grid is open, send join, race, or vamos in their Kick chat. The Kick integration recognizes these words in the message and attaches the identified sender to the creator's active grid. Anonymous messages cannot supply a racing identity.

When the race is running, send boost to boost your own entered racer or honk for its horn. Kick chat does not provide Twitch Companion's Bits checkout or its Yeet/Spin buttons.

Check your identity and lasting progress

Your provider identity identifies you across races. The current session captures its entries and their vehicle choices. Updating your vehicle preferences later does not replace the vehicle already captured for a joined race.

Race results and eligible rewards are saved by the server after completion. They are different from the position you briefly see while cars are moving. Public standings let you inspect your racing history; race rewards explains the reward table. A creator website account is used for hosting, track authoring, and the website's account features.

Influence your entered race

Cars normally race automatically. Free boosts affect your own entered racer during a running race. The allowance is 3 for a race expected to last under 60 seconds, or 5 otherwise. Once those are used, another free boost is unavailable for that race.

Twitch Companion supports Boost, Honk, Yeet, Yeet 3, Spin, and Spin 3. Paid Boost uses your own racer; the Yeet and Spin effects target random eligible racers. Bits purchases are optional and do not buy a place on the Grid. Check the displayed price before approving checkout. See buttons and controls for the provider and permission differences.

Recover a missing entry or disabled action

If your name never appears, check the channel, platform, and whether the creator still has Grid open. Try the displayed joining command once more while entry is open. Repeating commands during a running race does not create a new entry. A full grid, disabled channel, disconnected provider, or missing sender identity can prevent joining.

Boost requires a running race and your entry in that race. An exhausted allowance does not mean joining failed. Companion actions also need a usable Twitch extension identity, and paid actions can be unavailable while checkout or verification is pending. Ask the creator to confirm the session; use support if the problem persists.
